Hi, my name is Maryssa! Welcome to my little corner of the internet, which turned into my love letter to motherhood, the messy and the magical parts included.
I am a stay at home mom living in the Arizona sunshine with my husband Taylor, my high school sweetheart and the person who has had my heart for ten years. Together we have built the most wonderful, loud, snack filled life with our four kids who are all five and under. Yes you read that right. Four kids five and under. We are tired, we are happy and we would not have it any other way.
The kind of mom I am trying to be:
I believe kids deserve to be respected. I get down on their level, I listen to what they have to say, and I take their little worlds seriously. I try to lead with patience on the good days and grace on the hard ones. I want my kids to grow up knowing that kindness is never optional and that our home is always a safe and loving place to just be themselves.
I make sure they eat well, play freely and feel genuinely seen every single day. My greatest dream is simple. I want to watch them grow up happy and become kind, confident people who know how much they are loved.
That is it. That is the whole goal.
So, what is Kobyluck and Co?
It started the way most good things do, out of love and necessity. As a stay-at-home mom of four, I am constantly searching for things that make our days smoother, more fun and more meaningful. The Amazon find that actually works. The craft that keeps little hands busy for a whole afternoon. The meal that everyone at the table actually eats without negotiation.
I started sharing those things here because motherhood is hard enough without having to figure everything out alone. I genuinely wish someone had handed me a roadmap when I was knee deep in the newborn stage with a toddler on my hip. So consider this my way of being that person for you.
I am not here to be perfect. I am here to be real. Some days our house is beautifully organized and the craft is a masterpiece. Other days we are eating snacks for dinner and calling it a win. Both days count and both days are welcome here.
